We have been dealing with the topic of airlifters and air filtration for aquariums for a long time. The notoriously annoying “bubbling, spraying airlifts” have always been an issue in our aquarium club too – we just didn’t want to hear them anymore!

So the two of us sat down together, tinkered and tinkered, and we tried out many different models until “our” aquarium airlifter emerged: robust, easy to clean, quiet, easy to use, practical – and affordable, with a good price-performance ratio.

Who hasn’t been annoyed by the complicated cleaning of firmly glued air lifters? Who hasn’t been frustrated by O-rings that have hardened over time and clogged bubble stones? Who hasn’t been frustrated by the poor performance of purchased airlifts in an aquarium or breeding tank?

Instead of the well-known sleeves and O-rings, we use a special injection-molded part with machine-punched holes for the air outlet for our newly developed air lifters from Beck & Harich. The gaps are therefore particularly small and absolutely uniform, which makes the air lifter very quiet and the outflow very even. Thanks to this manufacturing method, there are also fewer burrs inside the air lifter, which would provide points of attack for limescale and mulm.
