The notorious sponge filters with suction cups bubble loudly, can splash quite a bit and often don’t last long on the aquarium glass. Based on our air lifters, we have developed our efficient, quiet quick filters with our practical universal holder as an attachment to the aquarium glass – as an innovative alternative to the “classic” sponge filter.

Our Beck & Harich quick filters are available in two different shapes—straight and curved—and in various sizes and diameters, with filter sponge colors in blue and black. This provides a suitable and unobtrusive solution for virtually any filtration situation in an aquarium—they simply snap into place, rather than being glued, for better hygiene and easier cleaning.

The filter cartridge of the quick filter is a preferred habitat for beneficial bacteria, which effectively break down organic pollutants in the water into nitrate as part of the filtration cycle. To do this, they need oxygen, which the air pump supplies automatically—ensuring effective biological and mechanical filtration of the aquarium water.
