Airlift form A with universal holder

The airlift with universal holder is simply hung on the aquarium glass - without suction cups, which lose their grip over time. Sponge filters, mat filters or rapid filters are operated in the aquarium with the airlift; the airlift also creates flow and effectively supplies the aquarium with oxygen at the same time. It is also ideal for a breeding tank for young fish or a shrimp aquarium.

Air lifters are always connected to an external air pump - so there is no power source in the aquarium water.

Beck & Harich's particularly quiet air lifter is fitted with a special injection-molded part in which machine-punched holes sit close together and create tiny bubbles that rise to the top of the air lifter, pulling the water with them and enriching it with oxygen.

If the airlift sits behind a filter mat (as with the Hamburg mat filter) or is fitted with a foam cartridge, the rising air draws the water out of the aquarium through the mat, where it is cleaned by filter bacteria.
